The rules that apply when you order from us, including our final-sale policy, liability and candle safety.
Last updated: August 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with Rosie Scented Candles. By placing an order you agree to them. Please read the safety section in particular — candles are an open flame.
Rosie Scented Candles is a trading name of Rosevital Cafe LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company registered at Stamford, CT 06902. Rosevital Cafe LLC is the seller and the party you contract with. Contact: [email protected].
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we send you a shipping confirmation, not when you receive the order acknowledgement. We may decline or cancel an order if the item is out of stock, if we find a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel after taking payment, we refund you in full.
Because everything is poured in small batches, stock can run out between your order and our confirmation. If that happens we will tell you and offer a wait, a substitution, or a refund.
Delivery timings and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Title passes once we have received payment in full.
We do not accept returns or exchanges. Every order is poured to order in a small batch, so once an item ships the sale is final. Please check your scent and quantity before you check out.
This does not affect your rights where an order arrives damaged, faulty, or not what you bought. In those cases we will put it right:
Approved replacements ship with the next batch. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 10 business days.
A burning candle is an open flame and a fire risk. Never leave one unattended, never burn near anything that can catch, and keep well away from children and pets. Full instructions are in our Candle Care Guide and on every label.
You agree to follow the instructions supplied with the product. We are not liable for damage or injury caused by use that ignores the safety warnings on the label — burning longer than four hours at a time, failing to trim the wick, leaving a candle unattended, or burning it past the last half-inch of wax.
Fragrance oils can irritate sensitive skin. Patch test the sprays before general use and stop using any product that causes a reaction.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
The text, photographs, logo and design on this site belong to us and may not be copied or reused commercially without written permission. You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it for anything unlawful.
We describe colours and scents as accurately as we can, but screens vary and every batch is poured by hand, so small variations in colour, set and surface finish are normal and are not defects.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, and any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Fairfield County, Connecticut. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
